Creating Beauty in Nature
Journey together among sisters in this earth worship series.
We gather in nature in different sacred sites around Humboldt county to make ritual and offer sacred payment to our Mother Earth.
The class begins with a Platica, gathering together outside in a teaching circle. All are invited to bring a food offering to share with one another during the sacred teachings.
Later the ceremonial procession begins in song and prayer, journeying to the ritual site.
……………………………………………………………………
You will be expected to bring an earth offering of some kind to contribute your essence to the making of the earth altar. Ofrenda Offerings include earths gifts like pine cones, sea shells, flowers, ferns, rocks, herbs, drift wood…
The sacred sites are from 10-30 minutes outside Eureka.
Completely outdoors, rain or shine. Come prepared for all weathers, wearing layers and bringing rain gear.
